In an Uncertain World: Tough Choices from Wall Street to Washington

#2 of 2005 is done. Finished this book yesterday. It was a long read and difficult at times because of my lack of economics background. I am a little behind in my reading goal of one a week in 2005. I am confident I can catch up!

Overall, I enjoyed the book and found many of his comments helpful especially in working with people.

I found his ideas concerning fical policies to be very convincing! Now I'm growing more and more concerned about our nations deficits!

Financial Peace: Revisited

I have committed to reading a book a week in 2005. Number one is done.

This is an excellent book on finances with very down to earth and simple advice. The core principle is don't borrow money.

I especially appreciated the section on "baby steps" which help you get a handle on your finances by prioritizing how to go about paying off debt, saving for a rainy day, saving for retirement, and so on.
